The Juri khota trek, is a fantastic trek in the Cordillera Real in a region of lakes and peaks known as Condoriri or the place of the condor in Aymara. In the Department of La Paz, Bolivia.

Itinerary
Departure at 8:30 am pick up from the hotel. 2 hours and thirty in transport to Rinconada from the route we will observe the peaks of mountains of the Royal Range.
During the day we will walk 2 hours, we arrive at Juri khota lagoon where we will spend time enjoying the landscape. Our camping will be on the edge of the lagoon, after dinner we will sleep in tents.
At 8:00 am breakfast
Later we will begin the walk bordering the Juri khota lagoon, to get to Pico Austria 5350m.
During the journey we will observe the Ventani glacial and after 3 hours of walking we will arrive at Pico Austria 5350m. From Pico Austria we will have a view of Montaña Condoriri (which has the shape of a condor with its wings open) also view of the chain of peaks of the real mountain range including the west face of Huayna Potosi and a beautiful view of Lake Titicaca.
Later we will begin descent in 1 hour to Chiar Khota lagoon, we will appreciate the peaks that surround the lagoon.
OPTIONAL: IF THE CUSTOMER LIKES IT, WE CAN TAKE A 2-HOUR WALK TO GLACIER PICO TARIJA IN ORDER TO SEE ICE AND GLACIER.
We continue with our 40 minute descent to La Rinconada, where our transport is waiting for us. return to La Paz.
