 Death road Bolivia is amazing ride dramatic and scenic. it  can be done in a fullday trip.

We start at an altitude of 4700 m.a.s.l, close to the nearby peaks, such as Huayna Potosi and other nearby mountains in the Cordillera Central.

there is instruction  about safety to ride the bike and test bikes.

as well as be ready to travel the 64 km with our expert  guides.
First we will descend on a road surrounded by low clouds, through the amazing views, out of the corner of our eyes there are small villages and the nearby grazing flames. With stops to take pictures of the high cliffs, outcrops of rocks and lush green vegetation.

The so-called “Camino de la Muerte” was built for the prisoners in the 1930s, and many of the cyclists travel this route every day that has been named as the most dangerous road for organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank. Along this route is subtropical, crossing along beautiful waterfalls to enjoy an incredible meal and rest in the pool.

    FULLDAY DOWNHILL BIKE ON THE DEAD ROAD

    We begin the ride at wind-swept La Cumbre (4,700m/15,400 feet) where you ll see fantastic views of a number of snow-covered peaks, including Huayna Potosí (6,088m/19,973 feet). From here we descend rapidly down a twisting asphalted road among mountain peaks, grazing llamas and alpacas, tiny villages and a drug check-post   07: 00 am. Departure from the agreed meeting point or from the office.  (fix the meeting point, when you confirm the tour). 09: 00am. Arrival to the Summit (4,700 masl.) Have a hot drink. The guide gives instructions on the risks and delivers the bicycle and equipment for the descent.   PART ONE 09: 30am. Start downhill on asphalt 22 km. (approx. 1 hour) Getting to Unduavi. 10: 30am. There is an 8 km ascent in the transport  from Unduavi until the begining of the Death Road.   PART TWO 11: 00am. Start downhill on "Road of Death". gravel road, rocky and stony. 12: 30pm. We arrive at San Juan (waterfalls), for a snack. 13: 30pm. Arrival to Cerro Rojo with 20 minutes of descent until the end of the tour in Yolosa (1200 masl.), And go by bicycle to our restaurant for lunch, use of the pool. 19:00 or 20:30 pm approximately araving to La Paz City.

CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT The mountaineering and hiking tours that we offer are highly risky, the customers decides to take the tour with their own experience and travel under our conditions. 1.-  Confirmation and payment:     After confirming the tour with payment
  • The confirmacion is valid for the date and time indicated on it.
  • The customer is responsible for the tour and must prevent factors that can make themselves sick or injure that can cause to loss the trip
2.-  Tour cancellations :
  • a day   or more days before the  trip day    30% penalty from total price, on  departure  day    100% penalty from total price,
3.-  Postponements:
  • A day  before tour day  0% penalty  up 18:00 pm,
  • A day  before tour day 15% penalty  up 18:00 pm to 23:59 pm.
  • on  departure  day    60 % penalty from total price,
4.- Insurance: The customer will make the tour on his/her own and full responsibility. The price does not include travel insurance against accident and medical expenses of any kind. 5.- Climatological Factors: The customer is responsible for choosing his/her travel date.  If, because of bad weather, the tour can not be completed. there is not refund. 6.- Equipment losses or damages during the tour: The customer is responsible for taking care of all the equipment that we provide. -   In case of damages or losses of any of the gear, the customer must pay for it at the end of the tour.
