City Tour, Moon Valley, and Cable Car

08:00 a.m. – Passenger Pickup:
We begin our experience by picking up passengers from their respective hotels in La Paz or from a designated meeting point, aboard private transportation. Our guide will accompany the group throughout the entire journey, providing detailed information about each point of interest.

City Tour of La Paz:
We start the tour by exploring the vibrant streets of La Paz, visiting traditional markets that showcase local handicrafts, typical textiles, and the curious items of the Witches’ Market—an essential part of Andean folklore and worldview.

We then continue to the historic Plaza Murillo, the political heart of the country, where the Government Palace, the National Congress, and the Metropolitan Cathedral are located. Our guide will explain the historical and cultural significance of this iconic site.

Next, we head to the Killi Killi Viewpoint, one of the most impressive panoramic spots in La Paz. From here, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city framed by the majestic snow-capped Illimani mountain.

Visit to the Valley of the Moon:
We then descend toward the southern zone, the most modern sector of La Paz, until we reach the fascinating Valley of the Moon. This natural site owes its name to its surreal landscape, the result of erosion on the clay mountains, forming unique rock figures and formations.

We'll take a walk along the valley’s marked trails (approximately 45 minutes), where you’ll see intriguing formations such as "Mother Moon" and "The Lady’s Hat", as well as learn about the local flora and fauna adapted to this unique ecosystem.

Scenic Return by Cable Car:
To end our tour in a unique way, we return to downtown La Paz aboard the modern Cable Car Transportation System (Teleférico), using the Yellow and Silver lines.

Along the way, we'll enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view of the city, with its terraced neighborhoods, the snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Real, and the vastness of the La Paz highlands. A perfect ending to an unforgettable experience.
